Make Your Own Bubble Bath

Washing off the cuteness! (Just kidding. That's impossible!)

But, with bubbles as a distraction, you can have a little extra time to wash more thoroughly.

Bubble Bath for Babes

Mix the following in a non-glass jar or container. (Glass breaks so it's just a precaution.)

  • 1/2 cup warm distilled water
  • 1/2 cup liquid castile soap
  • 1/4 cup vegetable glycerin
  • Essential oil mix*: 6 drops lavender, chamomile or rose mixed with 1 Tablespoon coconut, avocado OR jojoba oil

Mix it up. The glycerin and oil will separate and sink to the bottom.

To use: shake gently and pour into warm, running bath water. Then, bathe your baby in your Warm Hug Bath Swaddle or Warm Heart Bath Bib and feel the love!

*Notes on essential oils: They are too concentrated, so you need to mix with the carrier oil (coconut, avocado or jojoba oil) as noted above. You don't want to drop the oils directly into the water. That's a no no for adults and babies. Also, many oils exist, but some are best for body. Stick with lavender, chamomile or rose.
